What can you do when you feel hopeless and alone? When you are confused
and feel adrift in an ocean of callous indifference?
Who is there for you? If you are single, divorced, widowed or
perpetually alone - where can you find someone to talk to,
someone to care, someone that will offer tender and understanding human companionship?
Are you hopeless in twenty-first century tumult?
With the advent of the Internet, the world's lonely and despondent suddenly found
they were not alone. Millions hurt, millions had no shoulder
to dry on, no affection, millions had no hope. Countless numbers
of people around the world who journeyed to
a empty home at workday's end suddenly found companionship.
The Internet boomed, not because of eCommerce, but because of
companionship, communication and community - because of humanity. The Internet
mainstreamed because there was hope to be found in the bitstream.
Television does not offer hope, it offers entertainment and
polarization.
If
you are hopeless, find the Internet community that suits your
interest. Like seeks like. Promise can be found. Have courage,
hope is only a click away. Give of yourself and it will return
multifold.
